As your coach, I am an unbiased resource whose only priority is your wellbeing. I listen without judgement, and offer unique perspectives on problems both big or small. As someone who has experienced and overcome adversity, I have empathy for your struggles and believe that you are capable of achieving your goals. We will build a relationship that is comfortable and transparent, gaining trust over time. I will give honest and direct feedback to help you see problems through a new lens, and help you feel comfortable asking for adjustments to your coaching.

A different approach than therapy

Therapy is the treatment of mental disorders and for improving mental health, while coaching is focused on accomplishing your goals and identifying tools to apply to your life. There is some overlap between the two, and if you have tried therapy in the past and did not see the progress you wanted, coaching might be for you.

Areas where coaching can help:

  • Romantic relationships and dating

  • Friendships and loneliness

  • Anxiety and stress

  • Fitness and diet

  • Personal finance, debt, and investing

  • Workplace and career advice

Areas where coaching is not enough:

  • Medical and mental health conditions requiring diagnosis, treatment, or medication

  • Concerns of safety, harm to oneself, or to others

I will work with you to get the help you need, which includes getting connected with a licensed specialists or doctor if necessary.
